
Storage of Stock EM-1
- EM-1 should have sweet-sour taste(pH under 3.7) and smell. Else, it could be contaminated.

Containers:
- Air-tight plastic containers
- Release the gas often, by opening slowly.
- Transfer EM to smaller container after use to keep it more air-tight.

Temperature:
- 15~30°C (15~20°C is the best).
- Temperature fluctuation: less than 10°C / 24 hours
- Store away from direct sunlight, preferably indoors.
- Blankets or bubble sheets should be used as insulators on top and the side of the containers in winter, with wooden board insulator at the bottom

- Lugdigte plastiek houers.
- Laat lig ontsnap, deur oop gaan.
- Verplaas EM-1 na kleiner houers om dit meer lugdig to hou

- 15~30°C (15~20°C is beter).
- Temperatuur veranderings: minder 10°C/24 ure
- Stoor weg van direkte sonlig, verkieslig binneshuis
- Komberse of "bubble sheet" moet gebruik word as isoleerder bo-op en om dit kante van houers

How to Make Multiplied EM (M-EM)

Materials: Good-quality Stock EM-1
- Pure cane molasses - sticky, sweet, a little bitter, blackish brown

Water
- Borehole drinking water
- City Water: Leave containers outside for 3 days to get rid of Chlorine.
- Rain water (unpolluted)

Temperature
- 20°C ~ 25°C is best
- 15°C ~ 32°C is acceptable.

Preparation
- Fill the tank with 80% of water
- Mix molasses (5 ~ 7 % of water's volume) in water + let it dissolve.
- Mix Stock EM-1 (1 ~ 2 % of water's volume) in water + molasses mixture.
- Stir well
- Seal the container completely air-tight, and release the gas often.

High-Quality Multiplied EM:
- Do not multiply EM a second time - it will not work due to unbalanced contamination
- Smell and taste like the Stock EM-1 after 10 ~ 14 days with pH around 3.7

Caution
- Use M-EM within 1 month after maturation
- Use M-EM1 in 24 hours after dilution with water.
Hoe om Multiplied EM (M-EM) te maak

Materiale
- Goeie-kwaliteit Stock EM-1
- Suiwer melasse - soet, bietjie bitter, swart-bruin (taai).

Water
- Boorgat drinkwater
- Stadswater: Los houer buite vir 3 dae om ontslae te raak van chloor.
- Reënwater (nie besmet)

Temperatuur
- 20°C ~ 25°C is die beste
- 15°C ~ 32°C is aanvaarbaar.

Voorbereiding
- Vul die houer met 80% water
- Meng melasse (5 ~ 7% van water se volume) in water en laat dit oplos.
- Meng Stock EM (1 ~ 2% van water se volume) in die water/melasse mengsel.
- Roer deeglik.
- Seël die houer deeglik lugdig en verwyder gas.

Hoë-Kwaliteit Multiplied EM:
- Moenie M-EM 'n tweede keer vermenigvuldig nie, dit sal nie werk nie.
- Ruik en proe soos Stock EM-1 na 10 ~ 14 dae met 'n pH onder 3.7

Waarskuwing
- Gebruik M-EM binne 1 maand na rypwording.
- Gebruik M-EM verdun met water binne 24 uur.
