Storage of Stock EM-1

  1. EM-1 should have sweet-sour taste(pH under 3.7) and smell. Else, it could be contaminated.
  2. Containers:
    • Air-tight plastic containers
    • Release the gas often, by opening slowly.
    • Transfer EM to smaller container after use to keep it more air-tight.
  3. Temperature:
    • 15~30°C (15~20°C is the best).
    • Temperature fluctuation: less than 10°C / 24 hours
  4. Store away from direct sunlight, preferably indoors.
  5. Blankets or bubble sheets should be used as insulators on top and the side of the containers in winter, with wooden board insulator at the bottom
  6. The beige/white fungi on the surface are beneficial in EM-1

Stoor van Stock EM-1

  1. EM produks moet 'n soet-suur smaak en Reuk hê (pH onder 3.8), ou dit is besoedeleë.
  2. Houers:
    • Lugdigte plastiek houers.
    • Laat lig ontsnap, deur oop gaan.
    • Verplaas EM-1 na kleiner houers om dit meer lugdig to hou
  3. Temperatuur:
    • 15~30°C (15~20°C is beter).
    • Temperatuur veranderings: minder 10°C/24 ure
  4. Stoor weg van direkte sonlig, verkieslig binneshuis
  5. Komberse of "bubble sheet" moet gebruik word as isoleerder bo-op en om dit kante van houers
  6. Die beige/wit swamme op die oppervlak is voordelig in EM
